Zainabad (Little Rann of Kutch)

Zainabad is situated about 95 kms from Ahmedabad. It is a small town on the border of the Little Rann of Kutch. Wild Ass Sanctuary is the main attraction in Zainabad. In this Sactuary, one can get the glimpse of exotic wildlife and birds.We went to Zainabad with couple of friends. It took us about two and half hours to reach there.

In Zainabad, we stayed at Desert Courser.  This resort have ecofriendly cottages. The cottages were really nice and beautiful.

 After reaching, we had lunch and rested in the afternoon. In the evening, we  took a jeep safari into the Little Rann of Kutch.  We  spotted some Wild Ass,  Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara.

Then we went to see the sun set at a nearby lake. It was the most beautiful sunset, I have ever seen.

After having dinner, we had bonfire and all the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Next day early in the morning, we went to see some exotic migratory birds.

After having breakfast, we went to Modhera Sun Temple which is about 50 kms from Zainabad.  The details of it, I will give in my next blog. The trip to the Little Rann of Kutch was really enjoyable.
